Philippe Coueignoux brings to ePrio Inc. more than 30 years of experience in designing, implementing and promoting innovative computer software. He also holds several US patents in this field.
Valedictorian of his class at Ecole Polytechnique (France), Philippe received a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He taught for six years at the Ecole Nationale des Mines de Saint-Etienne and retains strong ties with students and alumni of various educational institutions, natural breeding grounds for both technical and social innovation.
Established in the United States for the past 20 years, Philippe has managerial and consulting experience with both start-ups (VP of R & D, then President of Data Business Vision) and large industrial groups (Director of Group Bull's US office for Corporate Strategy).
Over the last several years, Philippe Coueignoux has now finalized the ePrio offer, a software platform for user-centered, truly confidential Internet services accessible through any Java-enabled personal device.
Philippe Coueignoux is also the author of "Liabilities and Vulnerabilities in the Information Age", a series of academic lectures on how to manage the "dark side" of the Internet, and of Philippe's Fillips, a weekly polemic blog on electronic privacy issues.
